Fine Art Color Pencil – 4 Part Class – Tuesdays 6 to 8:30pm
Explore the beauty of drawing with colored pencils in this 4-part course, designed for beginners or for experienced artists ready to try a new medium. Using color pencil is much more than what kids do at school or in coloring books – it is truly a fine art!
You will learn everything you need to get started – types of paper and pencils, how to put the color down, and the process of layering and blending. Each session will introduce new techniques as we practice on three or four different renderings. Reference images will be provided.
NOTE: Those with color pencil experience are welcome to work on a rendering of your choice. Phil will be able to assist you with your project.
Fee for the four-part course is $200, payable at registration.
Class Dates are Tuesdays January 13, 20 & 27 and February 3, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.
