The Foundation sponsors exciting educational opportunities for artists of all ages and experience levels at The Antioch Art Center.

Become a Member
AFAF MEMBERSHIP
Our members enjoy a wide variety of art forms and styles, offering support and encouragement of each other’s creativity. We provide local artists with opportunities to promote their work, to be inspired and to gain new skills.
EXHIBITING MEMBERS (annual)
Are those who wish to exhibit their artwork at the AFAF gallery in our rotating Member Exhibits.
Exhibiting Artist Annual Membership Dues – $75
Hanging Fee – $20 per each 2-month period when exhibiting.
To apply, bring your completed Exhibiting Member Application Form to the gallery or email it to AFAF. Once approved, you’ll meet with the Gallery Director for your own “Welcome to AFAF” meeting and orientation.
PATRON MEMBERS (annual)
Support the arts and may wish to be involved in activities and educational opportunities offered by the Foundation.
Patron Membership Annual Dues – Individual $50 or Family $55.
Patron Members can fill out the Membership Form and bring it to the gallery.

Special Events
AFAF hosts approximately a half dozen special events per year. Dates and links for our special seasonal events will be placed here, as the times draw closer. Special events, along with invitational dates and upcoming art classes, will also be featured in our monthly newsletter, Art Lines. Learn about some of our regularly occurring events below.
Monthly AAC Receptions
Meet the artists and enjoy complimentary refreshments as we celebrate the exciting new exhibits on display at the Antioch Art Center (AAC) each month. Usually held on the 2nd Saturday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, our open-house receptions feature spirited conversation and inspiration for guests and artists alike. Come early for the free live “Art in Action” artist demonstration that kicks things off at 1:00!
Art in the Alley
Join us in beautiful downtown Antioch for a weekend of outdoor art! Explore creative handiwork by local artisans as we turn our quaint and cozy AAC alleyway into a fresh-air fine art forum. Free make n’ take art projects for the kiddos as you browse a unique selection of paintings, pottery, jewelry, glassware and more!
Art in Action
Get an exclusive look at the creative process with AAC live “Art in Action” demonstrations – free and open to the public! Talented local artists showcase different techniques and mediums each month before the start of our gala open-house receptions. Join us at 1:00 pm on reception day – usually the 2nd Saturday of the month!
