Advanced Pour-Painting “Tools & Tricks of the Trade” – Friday January 2, 2026 – 6 to 8 pm
Terri Miller’s advanced First Friday Fluids workshops provide an informal forum for experienced pour-painters to share ideas, get creative and learn new tips & tricks for working with fluid acrylic.
In “Tools & Tricks of the Trade” we’ll experiment with variety of common household items that can create unique fluid acrylic effects. We’ll also try out a spinner wheel, as seen in so many YouTube videos. Feel free to bring your own “tools”!
PLEASE NOTE: To participate in advanced workshops, artists must first take part in one of Terri’s “Intro to Pour Painting” classes or demos, or have prior experience with fluid acrylic, alcohol ink or liquid acrylic marbling.
Date: Friday January 2, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm
Fee: $50 per person includes all supplies for three paintings
Optional but Recommended:
1) Wear old clothes (including shoes!) and/or bring an apron.
2) Acrylics dry fast, but fluids can take longer. To bring your wet artwork home, bring disposable aluminum trays or cardboard boxes for the car.
Class size is limited so register early!
To sign up visit the gallery or call us at 847.838.2274.
We open at noon Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, and at 10am on Saturday & Sunday.
