“Lakes Region Watercolor Guild” & “Clayworkers Guild of Illinois”

AFAF’s October invitationals compliment each other so very well. Artwork of members of the Lakes Region Watercolor Guild is displayed alongside 3-dimensional art pottery from the Clayworkers Guild of Illinois. Based in Grayslake and Woodstock, these guilds share our vision of providing art education programs to local communities and supporting the work of artists from northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

As always, this year’s LRWG exhibit will be judged by a knowledgeable and recognized watercolor artist. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at our gala 2nd Saturday reception on October 10, 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.

The Antioch Art Center is proud to host this always impressive display of creativity by artists from our fellow regional art entities.

To exhibit in this show, artists must be a current member of either LRWG or CWGI and may obtain the prospectus and entry form for the show from their guild.
